LONGHORN NIGHT
Parents and families are invited to Longhorn Nights that will be held from 5:30 PM – 7 PM in the library the 1st Thursday of each month beginning Thursday, September 1st.

  •  Principal Talk, Food, Grade Level Presentation, PTA presentation, and Main Event.

VOLUNTEERS
To become a room parent, attend field trips or help with classroom parties you must have Volunteer Training and complete a Criminal History Check each year.

LANDRY BASICS
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

SCHOOL HOURS
7:30 AM to 2:55 PM

Tardy bell rings at 7:40 AM. Students are tardy if not in class at that time.

Doors open at 7:05 AM. Students are to go directly to the gym or cafeteria to eat breakfast.

After 7:25 AM, students go directly to their classroom.

Thank you for helping your child be successful by bringing them to school on time!

PICK-UP & DROP-OFF
Drop your child off and pick up at the Saddlehorn Drive doors.

DRESS CODE
Tops: Red, White or Blue (light or dark)
Bottoms: Khaki or Navy Blue
Shoes: Closed-Toe Fridays: Jeans with Landry spirit shirt or uniform shirt (no holes, rips or tears in jeans)

VISITORS
Check in to the office with your ID to receive a visitor badge.

Parents and family members are welcomed to eat lunch with the child on FRIDAY’S starting Friday, September 8th. Visitors must check in!

COMMUNICATION
“Thursday Folders” will go home with your child every Thursday and are to be returned the following Friday. In the folder you will find important flyers and information about upcoming school events and graded work.

A weekly Longhorn email will be sent Friday afternoons.

Check your child’s planner on a daily basis for teacher-to-parent communication.

Incoming phone calls to speak with your child’s teacher during instruction time will not be transferred. Please reach out to the teacher during their office hours or e-mail.
