Parents and families are invited to Longhorn Nights that will be held from 5:30PM – 7 PM in the cafeteria the 1st Tuesday of each month beginning Tuesday, September 5th.
- Principal Talk, food, grade level presentation, PTA or main event.
Fill out the online background check. You must do this in order to attend class parties and field trips coming up during the school year. Don’t be left out!

Allow 2 weeks for Criminal History checks to clear.
Landry Basics – What You Need to Know
7:30 AM to 2:55 PM
Tardy bell rings at 7:40 AM. Students are tardy if not in class at that time.
Doors open at 7:05 AM. Students are to go directly to the gym or cafeteria to eat breakfast.
After 7:25 AM, students go directly to their classroom.
Thank you for helping your child be successful by bringing them to school on time!
To maximize instruction time, parents cannot pick up their child between 2:45 – 2:55 PM from the office.
If you have a medical appointment to attend, please come before 2:45 PM to sign your child out.
Pick-Up & Drop-Off
Drop your child off and pick up at the Saddlehorn Drive doors.
Tops: Red, White or Blue (light or dark)
Bottoms: Khaki or Navy Blue
Fridays: Jeans with Landry spirit shirt or uniform shirt (no holes, rips or tears in jeans)
Check in to the office with your ID to receive a visitor badge.
Lunch: Beginning Friday, Sept. 15th, parents are welcome to have lunch with their children ONLY on Fridays.
No ID, no entry
“Thursday Folders” will go home with your child every Thursday and are to be returned the following Friday. In the folder you will find important flyers and information about upcoming school events and graded work.
Check your child’s planner on a daily basis for teacher-to-parent communication.
Incoming phone calls to speak with your child’s teacher during instruction time will not be transferred.
Please reach out to the teacher during their planning period or e-mail.
Be sure your contact information is accurate in Parent Self Serve should the school need to contact you or an appointed adult in the event of an emergency.
