The Business Education program area provides individuals with knowledge, skills, and abilities to meet local, state, and national needs for business employment and for preparation for further instruction in higher education.
Are you good with money? Do you like to work with numbers? Do you pay attention to sequence and detail? Do you enjoy seeing an end product? Do you enjoy being a leader, organizing people, planning activities for others, and talking with people? Do you enjoy working with computers and technology? Do you enjoy carrying through with an idea and seeing a project through to the end? Do you like working with technical information and data?

People who work in this pathway enjoy planning and directing the activities of an organization, like to work with people, are organized and comfortable with detail work in numbers and words, and/or have effective human relations skills. Occupations within this area are related to the business environment. These may include entrepreneurship (owning your own business), sales, marketing, computer information systems, finance, accounting, personnel, economics, and management.
